Our services are the five parts of a marketing leader's job, offered separately so you pay for the parts you are missing. A business with a capable coordinator and no plan needs something very different from one with a big agency budget and no reporting. This page explains each service and how to choose.
-
Fractional CMO leadership
A senior marketing head who owns the plan, the budget and the results for a set number of days a month.
-
90-day marketing plan and budget
A written plan that says what you will spend, on what, in what order, and how you will know it worked.
-
Marketing operations
The calendar, tools, tracking and hand-offs that keep marketing running when nobody is looking.
-
Team, freelancer and agency management
Clear briefs, deadlines and accountability for the people already doing your marketing work.
-
Marketing scorecard and owner reporting
One page a month that tells you what marketing cost, what it produced and what changes next.
Fractional CMO leadership
This is the full role: a senior marketing head for a set number of days a month, accountable for the plan, the budget and the results. Choose it when marketing has no owner and the owner of the business is filling the gap.
What it looks like in practice:
- weekly priorities set and communicated to everyone doing marketing work
- monthly budget decisions made against targets, not instinct
- vendors and staff briefed, reviewed and held to agreed deadlines
- one person you can ask "is marketing working?" and get a straight answer
Full detail is on the fractional CMO leadership page.
90-day marketing plan and budget
This is a defined project that produces a written plan for the next quarter: goals, channels, budget by month, owners for each task and the measures you will use to judge it. Choose it when spending is happening without a plan, or when you want to test working with us before committing to a retainer.
Ninety days is long enough to see real signals and short enough that a wrong assumption doesn't cost you a year. The marketing plan service page includes a worked budget example.
Marketing operations
Operations is the plumbing behind marketing: the content calendar, the CRM fields, call tracking, the hand-off from enquiry to sales, and the shared folder where the brand files live. Choose it when good campaigns keep failing for boring reasons, such as leads that never get a callback or offers that run past their end date.
See marketing operations for the checklist we start with.
Team, freelancer and agency management
Most small businesses already pay several people to do marketing: an agency for ads, a freelancer for the website, a part-time coordinator for social. This service gives all of them one brief, one calendar and one set of targets. Choose it when you have plenty of help but nobody directing it.
We also help when it is time to hire a first in-house marketer: writing the role, shaping the interview tasks and coaching the person once they start. The team and agency management page explains how.
Marketing scorecard and owner reporting
The scorecard is one page, delivered monthly, covering spend, enquiries, customers won, cost per customer and the decisions for next month. Choose it when you get plenty of reports but still can't answer the simple question of what marketing returned.
The marketing scorecard page lists the measures we use and the vanity numbers we leave out.
What every engagement has in common
Whichever service you start with, a few things don't change. Ali Sedighi leads the work personally. Your accounts, plans and data stay in your business's name. Every month ends with a decision, not just a report. And there is no lock-in; the terms of your engagement are written into your proposal before work begins.
How to choose: a quick decision table
Use this table to find your starting point. If two rows describe you, start with the one higher up.
| Your situation | Start with |
|---|---|
| Nobody senior owns marketing; the owner is doing it | Fractional CMO leadership |
| Money is being spent with no written plan | 90-day plan and budget |
| Campaigns are fine but leads fall through the cracks | Marketing operations |
| Several vendors, no coordination | Team and agency management |
| Lots of reports, no clear answer on return | Marketing scorecard |
Pricing for each model, from hourly advice to monthly retainers, is on the pricing page. For a sense of how the method has worked in practice, see the results from our HVAC work.
Frequently asked questions
Which service should I start with?
If you have no written plan, start with the 90-day marketing plan and budget. If you have a plan but nobody senior to run it, start with fractional CMO leadership. If both exist but you can't tell what is working, start with the scorecard.
Can I buy just one service?
Yes. Each service can be bought on its own as a project or as part of a monthly retainer. Owners often begin with a single project and decide afterwards whether ongoing management is worth it.
Do you do the hands-on marketing work as well?
The focus is management: direction, budget, briefs, coordination and reporting. Where you have no one to carry out a task, we can arrange execution through the wider Sedighi.ca practice, and that scope is set out separately in your proposal.
How do these services fit together?
The plan sets direction, operations keeps the work moving, team management makes sure people deliver, and the scorecard tells you whether it is paying off. Fractional CMO leadership is the role that holds all four together.
